Morning Dive Underwater Imagery

Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

Morning Dive accepts a limited number of commissions each season. Every booking holds a date, a pool studio or location, and a full crew, so the following Cancellation Policy applies to all shoots and scheduled sessions.

1.Retainer

A non-refundable retainer confirms your date and is applied to the final commission fee. Dates are not held without it.

2.Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule once without penalty by giving at least 14 days' notice before the shoot date, subject to availability. The retainer moves to the new date.

3.Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations within 14 days of the shoot forfeit the retainer. Cancellations within 48 hours, or a failure to attend without notice, are charged in full, as crew, safety staff, pool time, and location bookings can no longer be released.

4.Weather, Water, and Safety

Open-water shoots depend on conditions. If visibility, surf, or safety conditions make a dive unsafe, Morning Dive will call the shoot and reschedule at no additional creative fee. Third-party costs already incurred, such as boat charters and permits, may still apply.

5.Medical Exception

Late cancellation charges may be waived in the event of a medical emergency affecting the subject or an immediate family member. Supporting documentation may be requested.

6.Cancellations by Morning Dive

If Morning Dive must cancel due to illness, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond our control, you will be offered the next available date or a full refund of everything paid, including the retainer.

7.Delivered Work

Once editing has begun or final files have been delivered, commission fees are non-refundable.

8.Policy Acknowledgment

By booking and participating in a Morning Dive commission, clients acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Cancellation Policy.
